On May 30, 2014, the Bank of England and the European Central Bank jointly published a Discussion Paper called "The case for a better functioning securitisation market in the European Union". On page 20, the DSA is mentioned as an initiative to further simplify and standardise prospectuses and to standardise investor reports. In the paper many questions are raised, summarized on page 25. Interested parties were invited to comment on the paper and answer the questions before July 4, 2014. On july 3rd the DSA has submitted its reaction.
